Rolling Stone - Dua Lipa
1. The person on the cover is Dua Lipa.
2. A medium long shot is used
3. They are represented as feminine, pretty, fun and edgy.
4. The subjects in the cover lines include about music, previews and singers.
5. The colour scheme is very dark in the background and dark on the model using a colour pallet of browns, black and white.
6. The masthead is behind her head and the font is serif.
7. There are 1 image on the cover.
8. There are 4 cover lines however one of them is made of 12 individual names.
9. Bar code is at the bottom left.
10. There are 2 different fonts used. one is slab serif in white in the slab serif and one is serif in red. the font used in the cover lines is smaller. however, the font used in the anchorage text is bigger to stand out.

Contents Page.
1. Contents are laid out on the left side along the margins and on the bottom of the page.
2. One image in the top right , long shot group photo of the Idles
3. small, black, sans serif letters for the numbers with the singers next to the numbers in a bigger sans serif font. Underneath that theres smaller sans serif font which describes whats on the page. The word 'Contents' is written in bold, black, serif font in the top left corner of the page. 
4. Text is organised with the page numbers to the left with the signers name next to the numbers. Just underneath that there is a small description of what to expect on the page. 

Article
1. Big bold title on the left page with a caption underneath. Then underneath that the rest half page is a full article in a serif small font written in columns like a newspaper. On the right page a big photo of Paloma Faith (who the article is about) takes up about half the page. Then the rest of the right page is more of the article in the same serif column style. 
2. One image is used which is nearly as big as the page.

4. The title is in black serif font pasted slightly off the middle on the first page.
5. A caption underneath the title is serif and italic in black describing what the articles about in a more detailed way than the title.
6. The colour scheme is black, grey and white.
7. One issue represented about a breakup. Themes of hope and reinvention.
8. Stereotypes challenged in the photo as the model is wearing a black leather trousers with a white tank top which is normally a masculine outfit. Stereotypes are pushed as a female wrote about love and breakups. 

Overall
1. Rolling Stone Masthead in red bold serif font at the top. Recurring theme of the colour red.
2. Genre conventions include black edgy clothing, spikes jewellery, colours like red, black, white, grey.

Metal Hammer - Judas Priest 
1. The person on the cover is Judas Priest,
2. A mid shot is used
3. They are represented as edgy, funny, rock however he is holding cute kittens which challenges that.
4. The subjects in the cover lines include about music, previews and singers.
5. The colour scheme is very dark in the background and dark on the model using a colour pallet of black and white.
6. The masthead is behind his head and the font is sans serif.
7. There are 1 image on the cover.
8. There are 5 cover lines however one of them is made of 5 individual names.
9. Bar code is at the bottom left.
10. There are 2 different fonts used. one is slab serif in white and one is slab serif in yellow on the anchorage text. the font used in the cover lines is smaller. however, the font used in the anchorage text is bigger to stand out and its also a pun due to him holding the kittens. It says 'Purr-iest' since his name is 'Priest' and he's holding kittens.

Contents Page.
1. Contents are laid out underneath the title which is placed in the middle across 2 pages with the contents listed underneath with the page numbers next to a small explanation of what the page contains.
2. 9 images all spread out around the 2 pages like a border around the information
3. 3 different fonts. title is in a big and bold slab serif font which is black right in the middle. Underneath there are subtitles like "Albums" in a serif font. Underneath that there are smaller serif fonts which tells us information about what the page contains. 
4. The text is organised in 4 sections "Front Row, Features, Albums and Lives"

Article
1. Articles is laid in columns down the pages with subtitles above each topic.
2. One image is used which is in the top right corner and is covered by some of the article.
3. No logos
4. The title is in black serif font pasted underneath each subtitle. Theres a bigger bit of text pasted in a black bold serif font which is in quote marks.
5. The colour scheme is blak, grey and white. This makes the model stand out.
6. Issues are about guitar and the musician on the page, explaining how he played as a child which incudes quotes
7. Anti-stereotypical as theres a man which has long hair and normally women have longer hair.

Overall
1. The same Metal Hammer masthead is used with the word metal in the silhouette of the letter 'H' from hammer in every magazine. 
2. Genre conventions include black edgy clothing, spikes jewellery, colours like red, black, white, grey. 
3. Represented as edgy.
4. 30-50 year old musicians and musically interested people, mostly men.
